Enrollment and Transfer Students
This page is intended to give you some information about Greater Lisbon Christian Academy in order to help you determine if our school is right for the education of your children. After reading through the information on this page, you will need to contact the school to fill out an informational form. You can request the form by sending an email to [email protected]. The student(s) you wish to enroll will need to come with you to that appointment for an English assessment in Reading and Math.
GLCA desires to educate as many students as possible, but class size may limit admission. We are not equipped to handle students with significant learning disabilities or severe emotional or behavior problems. Students with an IEP will be admitted on a case-by-case basis, depending primarily on our ability to meet the student’s academic challenges. At this time, we are not admitting students without adequate English proficiency. Your child's knowledge of English (including reading and math) needs to be on the grade level that they are entering. For example, a 6th grader's English level for reading, listening, and writing should be equivalent to other 6th graders. Families must agree to abide by school policies and support school administration in the implementation of its policies. |
